The I-Mei Environmental Protection Foundation has been contributing to environmental protection and wildlife conservation. For example, the foundation has been making donations to the Jane Goodall Institute and the Taiwan Black Bear Conservation Association for many years.
Education
I-Mei believes that “we are what we eat,” and that it is important to educate the next generation about the importance of food and healthy eating. Therefore, we work with the government to promote food education and have transformed part of our Nankan factory into a tourism factory. Visitors are welcome to join our guided factory tours by reservation. DIY classes are also available upon request.
Art and Culture
I-Mei demonstrates its commitment to art and culture by supporting performing arts events, including Taiwanese opera and traditional Taiwanese puppet shows. Through sponsorship, I-Mei helps make these performances accessible to a broader audience while increasing public exposure to Taiwan’s cultural heritage. Hosting such performances at prominent venues, such as the National Theater, further enhances their visibility and cultural impact.
